    ... and I found something for me - a 6 pack of diet IBC root beer. I've got one in the refrigerator now!

    This evening, we are meeting a long-time friend for supper. He moved to Fort Worth with Lockheed spring a year ago. It will be nice to spend some time with him!

    Tomorrow we continue on our way home, stopping at Shreveport for the night (and some more shopping!). Till then....

    ... Catholics are doing in caring for the unaccompanied minor illegal aliens.

    After the service (lots of good music, too!), we headed for the interstate to Fort Worth. It's a lengthy drive, with lots of flat land, lots of oil wells, and lots of high temperatures! (That's a lot of "lots!') There were also a goodly number of cows, pickup trucks, and bug splats.

    ... are no bigger than regular plane, almost seem more cramped. Hearing the people next to us speaking German makes it real. Pilot also. It is almost 6 pm but really 1 am in Germany. Probably should try to sleep? Update: Made the 9 hour flight but neither of us got any sleep. Now in Frankfurt waiting for our one hour flight to Berlin. So far lots ...

    After breakfast we were off again. First we drove through the old Fort Wolters. They have used a lot of the old buildings as business warehouses but also have revamped several and people now live in them. After that short drive, we made our way into town to visit the Crazy Water store. Crazy Water comes from a couple of the mineral wells in this area. There are four levels of water, just water, low medium and high. The story goes that in the mid 1800's, a woman with dementia was ...

    ... able to go into the Visitors Center and look around. We realized that the hotel we are staying in, is actually right inside the gate of Fort Wolters. There is a Medal of Honor Memorial Garden just down the street. After shopping, we brought daddy back to the hotel so he could rest. Then Bob went to Walmart while mom & I went to Save-a-Lot and Dollar Tree. When we returned to the hotel, we finished the game of dominos we had started this ...
