... opposite its giant dome. The minaret has disappeared in favour of technology and loud speakers. A glimpse through the door showed a giant electronic screen detailing prayer times like airport departures. Tuesday morning, our included breakfast was an omelette jaffle (toasted sandwich) and a hot Lombok coffee. The coffee arrived in a glass, unfiltered and gritty like the Greek Cypriot stuff. Rocket fuel, but not too smooth. Our sole purpose in Sengigi was to ...
I definitely had the worst nights sleep that I've had this whole trip. The beds in our hostel might as well have been no existent as they dipped so much that we both woke practically touching the floor. I moaned loudly enough that it was suggested I wait in the boat to get Ru out of the scorching sun. Our tickets were 600,000 IRP per adult and 400,000 IRP for Millie, for return tickets. We bought them from our guesthouse in Ubud and it turned out to be a great deal. We saw them advertised ...
