... through. I made my way through to the bath area and settled myself at the usual spot at the far wall. The other woman followed a few minutes later, then another woman turned up. ... wrong side of the train from the best views so couldn't film it. Matsumoto is famous in japan for its castle and as people who have travelled with me before know, I like castles! The ryokan was nice and the futons were comfortable. The pillows were typically Japanese, filled with what felt like beads. It wasn't hard and at least moulded to the shape of your head like a memory pillow.

We had a Japanese breakfast with Joseph distributing his fish to the rest of us. There was rice, pickles, salad, omelette and sausages and a vegetable soup. It doesn't sound terribly Japanese but apparently, it is.

We caught the train to Tachikawa but did not realise that we had to change trains. In the past, we just went directly there. We were wondering why the people got off the train.
