And he said there was multiple craters. Over all we saw 2 up there and 2 on our way back down to the car.

And I threw some rocks into the crater and you could hear the rocks going down bumping against other rocks.

And we didn't even go all the way up to the main central crater because the air was to thin and there was this gas that people can't take in.

Although the theatre itself has been modernised for use with a blue stage and plastic chairs - not cool.

We enjoyed our walk through Taormina's gardens.

It had lovely, well maintained, lush gardens and many interesting buildings that looked like treehouse temples.

We thought Taormina was high but we drove higher to another cute town called Castelmola.

... restaurant called la cisterna del Moro and it was definitely the right decision. We had to wait about 20mins to get a seat out on the terrace but it was worth the wait. We had a nice little entree and then had a lasagna and cannelloni - they were delicious.
