    Up at 6.30. Shower and coffee brewed by Marie in the room. Down to reception by 7.50 for an 8.05 pickup. Bus arrived 8.30. We could have had breakfast. Payed driver $20, not sure what for. Pleasant trip out to Cape Canaveral. Not much scenery but informative commentary and videos about the space program.

Just the equipment to move these things from one place to another were massive and the building where the rockets were built and housed was huge. At 525-foot-tall the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB), where the Apollo rockets and space shuttles were assembled made you feel extraordinarily small. It is one of the largest buildings in the world and being single storied makes it even more unique. ...

    ... men who guided us between high stone walls down the slippery, worn road. Apparently the men of Madeira have been putting people (mostly tourists, I’m sure) into these wicker baskets and sliding them down the town streets for over a hundred years now. We picked up some speed on the way down, but the sled runners seemed well in control of the

    Breakfast at the Garden Cafe.
    Watch the passengers doing the 5 waterslides.
    Some are transparent.
    Saw the Sponge Bob kids water pool.There are his friend also like Patrick,the starfish n others.
    There was periodic spouting of waters.
    Had lunch at Sheehans Restaurant.
    Had fish n chips,buffalo wings,n salad.
    The ship arrives at Cape Canaveral around 2pm.
