Today we went to Kennedy Space Center and had a great time.  As we were entering we saw a sign that said they welcomed us to be a part of NASA's next great adventure, a mission to Mars.  It wasn't until we got to the ticket booth and saw the prices that we realized they wanted us to be a major sponsor.   Thankfully, the space center is really pretty entertaining.  The kids loved it and there was enough to keep them engaged and excited while the old ...

The night ...

Jan tried them out; by the time I decided whether or not I should go on one, they were closed. It sounds like the one I would have tried would have been scary, so it’s okay. The adult whirlpool was taken over by a group of kids drinking beer, so we ...

... scrubbed, so we headed over to the busses, which would take us back to the Visitors' Complex.
On Friday, day 3 at KSC, we went to the Astronaut Hall of Fame, which told the story of each astronaut and had displays of space suits and other equipment used in their flights.
Again that night we awaited the rocket launch, but again it was scrubbed due to bad weather and rescheduled for Saturday night. Saturday night we decided to watch ...
