Western Australia

... in Australia doing both east and west coasts in some detail I would say. We were absolutely blown away by what we experienced and having the freedom of our Hippie campers was a new dimension not otherwise possible on Greyhound buses. From the wildlife, the scenery, the people, we could not have wished for a better time in this vast giant of a country and will one day return to explore other regions as well as visit some of the true pearls we were fortunate enough to spend time at.

Thank you Australia!

I cringe as I type this and wonder if I should just keep my mouth ...

... in the "valet parking" area. It was not monitored by anyone. They probably thought no one would be nervy enough to park there. They haven't met Bob!

We asked about green fees and were told the regular rate was $495 a round. Also, you need to get a caddy which is another $150. We declined when asked if we wanted to book a tee time.

Instead, we headed to Monterey Pines ...

... creek and showed Bobby. Gilly, in addition to clarinet, is now playing tennis and Mike is teaching her the killer moves as he played at the college level. Marianna has done a great job with this brood of kids. Hats off to both Marianna and Mike. This was not easy and they have done a great job. We could not stay long, but while we were there we heard from Hannah who is now at UCSD, so we will see their eldest daughter when we reach ...
