Sleeping in and Santa Cruz

... than any other. After we ate, we ran over to the Museo de la naturaleza y el hombre (museum of nature and mankind), which was an interesting trip in itself. Among other things, we learned about the geological history of the Canary Islands, the settlement of aborigines in each one, the culture and health of the people who lived there, and mummification! We even got to see a real mummified fetus, which both creeped me out and fascinated me.
