To start off the day we headed out for some snowboard shopping, living in Oz its pretty expensive to buy gear, coupled with the fact that your only allowed so much weight on planes makes buying new gear in the northern hemisphere a good option,
We found a really great shop to buy REALLY REALLY cheap clothes, its an outlet shop that sell last years good at almost criminal prices.

... 8221; Once again, a few other people have the same plan. We join an all-age crowd to wait for the emergence of the local heroes. At last the music system blares into life and the ice is filled with guys stretching, skating or just dashing about. ... of summer, but it was only 11 degrees once we reached the top, and I was glad I'd borrowed Janice's jacket! The views of the Douglas Firs as we ascended were only surpassed by the magnificent views of the city and bay of Vancouver far below us. We were pretty loaded up, so it was good that no one had a panic attack on the way! (every Bond movie I've seen with one of these contraptions in it never ends well for somebody...)
