Camped just off a ranger road yesterday in Saskatchewan, it was so flat there it was hard to find a place out of sight. Eventually we found a group of trees that once was a homestead and popped the canvas top and enjoyed the quiet of the prairies.

Followed Bishop Grandview Blvd - St Mary's Road - 1st Main street. In Vieux St Vital area.
4:50 PM Downtown rush hour to see Portage and Main.
Took the bridge over the Assiniboine River and followed Portage West to the Trans Canada.
Who knew Portage La Prairie was big enough for a Walmart?

Cold frosty morning again. Left Kenora and headed for Winnipeg via Victoria Beach along way to find no where to park! On the way back called at Grand Beach park, never seen ice forming on the beach before and snow on the sand dunes.
