I did 900 kms today. I almost stayed in Winnipeg but decided to muscle on through. Things went from rocky and lake-y to flat and wheat-y pretty quick. Nothing to show for pictures. I'm on the Trans Canada HWY so just a lot of trucks and gas stations. Tomorrow I'm heading to Regina to say hi to Kath and then onto Edmonton. Missing my kids and family terribly. Souris Manitoba, home of the longest swinging bridge in Canada 177 meters. Also home to a huge butterfly collection, we have been to both previously and well worth the stop. The bridge was destroyed in the flood a few summers ago but has now been rebuilt. Not on the itinerary for this ...

... last night in N. Sioux City) and have my wheels pulled and re-balanced as applicable. Sure enough the technician identified that all 4 of my wheels were out of balance, something I suspected since the installation of my new tires the other week, but had not definitively diagnosed. After the re-balancing, the XC60 is now riding as smooth as a baby's bottom. :-)
