... came and we found ourselves in not so hospitable country. Ironically it is country that is considered to be the 'Bible belt' of Manitoba. I find myself thinking about what it means to be a Christian and how do I live that out. We ended our day downtown Winkler in anticipation for fresh pastries from the bakrry in town.

Cowboys and Indians
... spent a day in Waterton Lakes NP "where the prairie meets the mountains" seeing the main points of interest, yet it is an area that warrants a longer visit. The terrain is varied with mountains and prairie meadows. Like the older parks there is a town site with shops, restaurants and related businesses. The park is joined at the US border by Glacier National Park a larger park by far.

End of the Harvest
... red meat for me! It was great to see everyone under one roof for a few hours and to listen as the guys exchanged stories and razzed each other about something that happened during the harvest. Walking near Henderson Lake, Lethbridge
One of my favorite spots in Lethbridge is the Henderson Park. It has great walking paths around a man-made lake and the 'people areas' are always well used.
