Don admits that it may take a bit of an adjustment but he will be ready for a change of pace!<br><br>We also got word that we finally have a firm sale for our house and now the scramble begins to work out the logists of the 'move' and departure for a winter in the south again. It looks like we will be back in Almonte for much of the month of November.

Riding in Glacier National Park can't be beaten except for the construction. Mind you the benefit was being stopped on some of the highest vistas of the park for more photo ops. The three stops made the ride very long but the weather was perfect and you could chat with the other poor souls trapped in the traffic jams as they waited to roll through loose gravel.

We had an interesting drive around the area in the evening looking for the combines and viewing the beautiful prairie sunset and the windmills in the area.

After many stressed days, Don got word late last week that he was hired for a harvest excursion. Although we haven't said a lot about it, the research and phone calls focused on this venture have consumed a lot of his (our) time since we got back to Alberta. ... it could have really blown and caused a lot more damage. The next day we visited theTyrrell Dinosaur Museum which was pretty spectacular and quite an education. We've since made our way to Lethbridge - really hot here. Trying to soak it up cuz it could change any day.Toured the Nikka Yuko japanese gardens which were nice but a little disappointing. Plan on golfing tomorrow at Paradise Canyon.

... e plutôt efficace en somme! Et vers midi, nos invités sont arrivés: visite de Vincent (à son tour de venir voir mon site d'étude!), Steve et Shirley. Au programme, visite du site, des coulees derrière le site pour essayer de voir quelques animaux sauvages, et surtout, grande promenade avec tout ce beau monde, Gail, Dan et les chiens. C'était super ...

... on a lu les histoires indiennes, enfin essayé car les gravures sont soumises à l'érosion du temps et des intempéries, donc s'efface petit à petit, sans compter les touristes qui taguent aussi (je tiens à préciser que c'est interdit, sous peine de 50 000$ d'amende et/ou emprisonnement!) Après cette sympathique promenade dans ce magnifique endroit, retour vers Lethbridge, affamés mais les yeux pleins de merveilles encore une fois arrêt ...

... les blessures, l'identifier (assez important en somme!) en regardant ses ears tags, le marquer avec de la teinture hair color et enfin le relacher. Du coup, aujourd'hui, c'était super sympa: il faisait super beau, sans vent et en attendant d'attraper un mâle, je pouvais tranquillement écouter le chant des oiseaux et les cris des squirrels! J'adore ça: pour moi aussi la vie est belle dans la neige (manque plus que mon amour!)
