    ... into our official uniforms, an early dinner and off to. Niagara Falls for the opening ceremony. Supporters travelled in a separate bus, but they quickly found us die to our bright yellow caps.....and of course the huge contingent.
    3 local boards had come together to put on the opening ceremony....and what a great show it was. It started with a procession of all competitors.

    ... Hortons coffee place and pulled in for some courage in the form of coffee.

    Everyone was really nervous so I was trying to be very calm and confident. You know.....fake it till you make it.....and it worked. The car didn't have a GPS so we asked directions of many people on how to get to the Pen Centre, a shopping centre here. No luck with that so off to Walmart, and about four other huge shops. All had them except Walmart ...

    ... trips. I didnt even get to see the Falls today.

    It was an interesting day but quite intense heat and severe rains by the end. If I took my bike again next year I would try things differently, try to see more of the Falls Tourist District, and the Welland Canal.

    ... and helping out. The people seem friendly & as they all vegan / vegetarian it the type of place where someone will come down in the morning and hug you and give you 'nut milk'. The food is ridiculously healthily. I don't think anyone will be cracking open the tequila, so it's great preparation for my next run.
