... were notorious for being late but not forgetting passengers. Sure enough not long after our lift arrived and we were off. The Air Malta flight was perfect, completely no dramas, and we landed in Rome less than 2 hours later. We smashed through Rome not wanting to see anything as we've spent a lot of time there previously and quickly got a train to Naples. After arriving we realised that the ticket guy in Rome had ...

I took off running, yes OJ style, jumping over small children, a few sleeping homeless, food carts and luggage. When I get there, only one lady was in front of me and...score...two tickets to Paradise, I mean to Pompeii. And the added bonus was the young man that sold me the tickets was a very cute or should I say Hot Italian and he spoke English! Chock one up ...

... I sampled the limoncello (which I have come to quite enjoy), and Matt got a mint gelato. Back on the bus to return to Naples. We got stuck on the same bomb-removal traffic jam - now even more congested - giving us time for a little siesta. Here's the truth about the port of Naples: it's in a pretty scuzzy neighbourhood. The Bourbon-family castle is right nearby, which is quite impressive - but other than that, it's a collection of run-down buildings, street ...
