    ... we were so high on the adrenaline of being somewhere new that the time change and little to no sleep didn't even bother us. I was actually super surprised at how productive our first day in Paris was we managed to make it to Notre Dame it was really beautiful and it had free admission which is always a plus.     ... of holidays - went to the movies, read books, played cards, watched hockey. We went to a Wheatkings game - major junior hockey - so boys from around 15 to 20 trying to get drafted to the NHL. Kinda like the TAC Cup for AFL I think. Lots of fights of course - it's what the league is known for. Was pretty relaxing really. The drive back - we did it all in one day - was pretty touch.     This update is for those of you, who think we fell off the face off the Earth. We realize we abruptly stopped writing blogs. It is because Scott and I have returned home to Brandon. Unfortunately, my mom was suddenly diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. We raced home to be with her.
    My mom passed away on September 29th, at home surrounded by us. Thankfully, we were able to spend a few weeks with her.

    It's was very windy and cold today so were back to the RV to watch the Cardinals tonight.
    It rained ll last night and am so hopefully were done with that. It helped melt all the snow around here.
