Need a quick way to bring your spirits down?

I know quite a few ways to do that in a short period of time, from experience. There are days when you know things are going to be alright and moments when you feel on top of the world. Those are all good and well, until those moments when you feel like the world is crashing down around you and you forget all about those wonderful moments that rise you up so quickly.

Its been a roller coaster of those extremes lately and today I hit the threshold of overwhelming ...

    Promises, promises!

Julie and I always knew that the week building up to my departure was going to be full of low key tension, and slowly building into something that could have been as volcanic as a relegation threatened premier football manager. I went to the only church in Sant Antoni this morning and experienced the second Catholic service in my life, this time in Spanish. Although I understood only words and no real meaning yet, I am happy that I went and had the experience. It was good to be in a church during service, but I have to admit I was wildly distracted by a lot of things. First by the set up of the church, which I have come to know through visiting many churches ...

As I am studying Spanish and was relishing in the happenings of my day yesterday this morning, I turn on some disney music to listen to and sing along with. The song “Part of your world” came on and as I was singing along and thinking about the words, it feels fitting to me at this point in my life. I feel a part of this life here and with the people, but I still feel like I have a handicap like Ariel did. I want to seamlessly be a part of this ...
