Hola, we land in Mallorca and pick up our car. Dave wanted a medium-sized car, so we got something that seemed equal to a limo in size. This should be interesting.
We stop @ Portals Nous for lunch and see how the rich and famous live. The small "boats " are minimum 150' in length. We look around in our restaurant and surprise, we are younguns …

Early start today to check out of hotel #1 and head to the boat. It was a great day after some initial confusion and panic and nearly missing the boat (I have now explained to them the difference in English between "being picked up outside the auditorium" and "making your own way to the boat opposite the auditorium across two main roads and a car park")! As expected, still over tired today! Class was good though and afterwards a few of us went to grab lunch at a local market. There were lots of different food stands (think Borough Market al Palma) and we sat at one with a few different tapas (obviously!). This afternoon we went to the Es Baluard art gallery which was interesting. A few pieces of local Mallorquin art including a small Joan Miro exhibition. A quick mojito with Monica, Trisha ...

... so made the most of that and baked for a little while before heading down to do my homework! Tonight - the school has organised a visit to a flamenco display - well I think it is a display - somebody else said we had to learn flamenco ourselves - oh the joy of not really understanding the language! It was only me and Monica from our class but a few others from a more ...
