... Jesus being the light and the life of the world. We went up one of the towers here to get views over Barcelona city, and although it was a cloudy day it was still good to see just how big it is. We decided to take the train up Park Güell which is a nice spot overlooking the city and where Gaudi has done one his other major works creating a working park, it's huge and we spent a really nice couple of hours wondering around. ...

... that most would all have. I think our most likely was Juan. So now all Spanish blokes are Juan. The hound (hoond) phenomenon has also taken right off again, with dogs and their owners in the biggest concentration yet while we've been here in Europe. We were also surprised at how modern Barcelona was once on the streets. The flight wouldn’t have been too bad except we were delayed an hour and ...

... de la Mùsica. After our bike ride we stopped for Churros. Louis' shout! Good lad. We headed home for an hour sleep in preparation for heading out again for dinner. Can't eat here before 8. Walked around the 'old city', crossing La Rambla to a small place for dinner. I think the boys liked having a nap earlier as they didn't get to bed until close to 11pm. The town is certainly alive at that time. Goodnight. ...

Barcelona for six days. One of my favorite EU cities. The Gaudi buildings alone are worth a visit. His Sagranda Familia is the greatest cathedral I have ever visited (and we have seen many in Europe). His La Pedrera (rock quarry) was the inspiration for George Lucas and his Star Wars films. I can see Java the Hut in the La Pedrera. The public and museum art is vast and varied in this town. In addition ...
