... scurried back towards the castle in search of his 'woman' (who may well have made her escape on the bus whilst her crazed husband hunted for yet another sacred cave)! Seba knew the landscape and we first found a vent hole which looked down into the cave and then the entrance. Stooping low and straddling a puddle we emerged in the side of the cave. It's well worn by visitors and floored with thick sheep dung but the view spreading out of the gaping hole in the side ...

... and we ended up strolling back down to town together, striking up a walker's friendship, admiring the twisted trees and spring flowers. She seemed intrigued by the workaway experience and seemed ready to plan a year escape from her social work in Berlin! The sun on my back! First time this year and I feel like I'm unfolding! Pete and Roo have chosen the most sublime place to base themselves; the harbour side houses are blushing in the sun, the now calm waters sparkle and fish pop their heads up to say hello to us on deck. It's so small compared to the all bells n whistles marina of Palma, intimate and peaceful. Pete is recorking the deck with tufts of hemp fleece, chiselling it deep between the planks. Below ...

During the night the ship changed course for Mallorca in order to carry out a medical evacuation of a passenger. No word just rumours of the condition of the passenger evacuated. A nice day but a bit blowy so deck quoits and shuffleboard comps were cancelled since they take place on the top deck of Adonia. Therefore we spent a relaxing day around the ship. Dress code for tonight's dinner is Black & White night. ...
