    Have had a great time in Essen, catching up with Carolyn and Heiss. We have explored Essen from North and South along Ruttenscheidler Str. Afternoons have been spent with Carolyn. Visited Villa Hugel, and the sports club. Walked through the woods. A lot of damage still evident from the severe storm they had 4 weeks ago. Apparently 20000 trees came down through out the area.
