... and hot, we found Tony's birthday greeting for me. If you can't read the note, it says, "Peg -- In celebration of the 3rd Anniversary of your 21st Birthday. Happy Anniversary! Marcia and Tony." So sweet (and so yummy!).

Tonight, once things cool off a bit, I'll do some wash, re-organize my car to accommodate all my new goodies, and get ready to head down to Chicagoland in the morning.

All in all, it's been a lovely visit with two very lovely people.

... s generosity. I managed to stay very quiet while managing to get through the unfamiliar security at the cottage. It's muggy so I opened the windows even though there's AC. Pewaukee, the last town we passed before getting here, was surrounded by fog and deer and drunk fishing cheese heads. So tomorrow? I'm not sure and so far I'm unbothered by that.... Just sitting here feeling the breeze and not watching ...

On a snowy early morning we drove to Madison, met Leo who dropped us off at the bus station just in time to board. Nice and easy trip to O'Hare airport in Chicago with plenty to time to go through Security and rest and get on board Air India's super big flight to New Delhi non-stop. Totally easy but not too comfortable, uneventful trip, lots of food, could sleep with some pills to help, saw an Indian movie on corruption.

Another great surprise! We discovered the incredible International Crane Foundation was only 5 miles from our campground, when we found a brochure while checking into Mirror Lake State park campground!! Wow!! This place alone was worth coming to this area!!
