... some brussels sprouts and carrots! We also found an Amish Store called Mischler's Country Store in Dalton, Wi. also. We found a wonderful cafe for lunch and had fried cod fish and clam chowder. We left there and drove to Wollersheim Winery which was voted best winery in 2012. It is located in Prairie du Sac, ...

... whoops, calling it a little close there I would say. Anyway, two of the most wonderful hours of the trip. It was blustery, but we were having so much fun we didn't notice the cold.

It took us a little bit of effort to work together, and for me to learn what I needed to do to help get us where we wanted to go, but in the end we were a good team and had a fantastic time. It is something we've never done before and we enjoyed the scenery of the rocks and cliffs and late summer flowers. The birds ...

    ... the recommendation!

We stopped at Pewit's nest on the way back. Different landscape from Parfrey's Glen, but again a very nice slot canyon, didn't stay long, it felt more ominous to me. Forevertron was closed. From the few items on display out front it looked intriguing. It was not open again while we were in the area so missed out. The day couldn't have gone any better, it was ...
