A midday dock today so plenty of time to enjoy the delights of the ship this morning. We've taken to breakfasting at the back of the ship and its virtually our own private balcony. It's maybe a new tradition. This morning was exceptionally good as we saw 2 whales playing, clear as a bell near to the ship. After lunch I laid down for a nap, and ...

... Matt Giteau and Drew Mitchell were playing for Toulon.

The hotel tonight was without doubt the worst we have had and no bargain. The only good thing about it was its proximity to the port. We left the hotel to catch the ferry at 6:30 to board the ferry almost straight away. While waiting to board a group of motorcyclists on a tour with Adriatic Tours pulled up and it wasn't long before we were talking to the 3 Australians riding with the ...

... walk to only a few minutes to the ship. It is very tiny and easy to get around on foot. We of course visited Bonapartes birth home, which was very interesting as I listened to the audio guide in English.

Other than this we followed the map and went to the plaza of De Gaulle, the town beach area and ...
