          Delightful marina, perfect sunny day.

... ended up at the marina where we had tapas the day before. As the day is very warm we decide to stop for a coffee en-route and Tess had an ice cream tub of water. We enjoyed an alfresco lunch of the usual(no wine) and a little ride around on the bike, I had forgotten how far you can get on a bike in a few minutes. Much later we decide to catch the last of the sun and walk to the ends of the marinas and as you can see, were treated to a lovely ...

Phil took Tess for an early morning walk only to find market stalls all the way alongside the canal where we enjoyed our walk in the sunshine yesterday when we were in town and there were about 50 transit vans but he only brought back bread though. Last night was quieter, we could only hear the lions a couple of times and this morning they're packing up to leave. The camels, lamas and horses are at the side of the road grazing (no lions). ...

Apparently the city fathers realised that if they built the nave and transept it would entail knocking down the city ramparts, so that was it. Just show building plans have been going wrong for many centuries! Time for lunch, nearly 2 hours for a pizza, as it took just over an hour ...

          Lea and Sebastian for tea

... Col. Back down the Col. then to Neffies, Roujon and home. This ride took 2hrs and was about 30km. It was hot, I drank 2 whole bottles while out.

We had a shower and got ready for Sebastian and Lea to come for tea. It was good.
They went home about 10.30pm as Seb has work tomorrow morning.

          Bon Nuit

Monday 16 our body clocks were all out of kilter and we all woke up early – Toni and Tony 4.30am and the kids not far behind – gave us a good bit of time to have breakfast casually and skype Grandma and Granddad which was excellent. We had a busy day planned of going to meet Robin the English speaking Banquier of Banque Chaix (said like Shake Rattle and Roll), went through the protocols, paid through the nose with fees for this and that and ...
