Long drives along Dalmatian Coast
... hotel seemed very new with spacious rooms (****** WiFi, unfortunately). We were astonished at the level of service the employees give to their guests. The only sour note was the restaurant for dinner. Not particularly vegetarian friendly. The chef produced a pasta that had salt as its main ingredient. The breakfast was fulsome and filled us for the journey onward.

Ice hockey
we stoped in Pula to say hello to Marco (old business partner of Dide) and it turned out that there was an international hockey tournament taking place in the collesiem (almost 2000 years old) between Croatia and Russia - what a treat.
Finally, made our way down to Metcovic, just in time for one day of sun on the beach, before the rain - forcast for the next couple of days.
More to follow as i need to sign off now as we need to get the car back to Metcovic.

... lunch. Ninety-nine percent of Slovenia is land locked, with the exception of the tiny slice that is coastline which we cycled through in about 2 hours. It was beautiful, absolutely beautiful, but brief. It seems that Slovenia got the short end of the real estate stick after the breakup of Yugoslavia. High speed ferry to this beautiful town
... and steep stairs to the third floor of the building, took off running to the boat. He had no luck. The following morning he tried again by calling the ferry company but they reported no camera had been found. So cursing humankind I resolved to put it behind me and search for a new one when we get to Ljubjlana.

Sun sea n snorkels
After a chilled breakfast n morning we headed along the coast to find a good spot to relax. This actually proves very difficult as everywhere seems to be just sharp craggy rocks before the sea.
It does however mean that the snorkelling is AWESOME!! some great bits of coral with kind of valleys running through attracting loads of fish. Got some great underwater pics (hopefully) in our quest to chase and terrorise the sea creatures! Just had to watch ...
