Camp Croatia

... the hours until the next meal, trying to occupy ourselves... so I have been working on summer internship applications and reading this great book called Mountains Beyond Mountains which is about Paul Farmer.
Well, that's all I have to report, I'm not sure when my next blog will be, probably not until after Ireland, so around December 15 I would assume.
All the best!

... he is asking me if I am ok every minute and wont let me get out of bed to do anything. We have spent three days just doing nothing in the room but on sunday we went out for a walk and I seem to be getting better at one point I think that I wanted to come home but what difference does it make being here or at home. We have some sunshine now and I can just relax.

I have slept for nearly 14 hours ...

Disaster Strikes!

... is only a short bus ride away and they have some ancient ruins of an ampli theatre that we could go and visit. So we hopped on the bus after a nice breakfast and headed to the amplitheater. It was freezing so cold that we both had coats and hats on and we got the theater and it was raining. It was an amazing place and Ian went up in the audience bit and I was messing around in the arena asking him could he ...

Nude Beach and Water Sports in Rovinj

... joked around for awhile, Jeff suggested that we go up to the sundeck as we cruised into Rovinj. So we got dressed and headed topside. We didn't end up going directly to Rovinj, but instead anchored near a beach and island off of Koversada, a few miles north of Rovinj.

The guys were a little nervous about going to a bare beach so we first pulled out the water toys nearby and played around in the ...

... in America was in Orlando. We spent the rest of our time trying to convince him that Orlando is not indicative of the US.

Back on the ship, Tyler was taking advantage of the sports deck that is dropped down anytime the ship is anchored. One can waterski, sail, kayak or just swim.

We said our goodbyes and went back to the ship. Cocktails at 7, followed by dinner and dancing. Another great day!

1st stop in Croatia: Rovinj

... bones disappeared from Constantinople in around 800 AD. She is now the city's patron saint & her remains lie inside the church, which has the highest belltower in northern Croatia.

Small art galleries, shops, and waterside cafes fill the narrow cobblestone streets near the harbor, and it was a pleasant place to spend a few relaxed hours.

... I wanted to go check out the Valentino 40 Year Anniversary exhibition that is on at the moment but it was closed. I was so disappointed!! We finished up our stay in Rome with dinner and gelato near the Spanish Steps. So nice. I was going to try and get completely up to date today but am running out of time as were off to meet our tour group for a yummy seafood dinner soon. Will try and get the rest updated soon! Promise. Take care everyone! Love Sarah and Gavin xox
