    ... it wouldn't be us if we didn't get lost somewhere along the way.

    We wandered down to the beach which is grey sandy stuff and rocks, nothing like home beaches but still a beautiful outlook. Found a small alleyway and headed down and stumbled on the other side of the coast and a small inlet with a white sandy beach, how odd to have black rocks on one side of the coast and literally across the road white sandy beaches.

    ... straight up to the rooftop deck to take in breathtakingly beautiful views - while Rick caught his breath downstairs. Folding chairs and a blue table worked well for breakfasts and sunsets. On the roof deck, the warm sun and soft ocean breezes felt so good!

    ... We cannot seem to find anything that appeals. Finally we decide on a place that advertises a vegetable pie, something new to try and they have seating inside. Susan and I decide to share a pie and a salad and what a great choice we made. The pie is actually much like a quiche and it is an assortment of three different varieties which we cut up and share, yummy!

    As we had to catch the train to Milan then onto Sestri Levante we were up at 6.30 and having breakfast by 7!
