Then something moved, and on the other side of a small retaining wall was an ostrich, just kind of walking back and forth, pretty much unphased by us taking pictures of it. This trail was also not as nicely paved so you had to constantly be watching for loose rocks and for me, I had to figure out ways to get up some of the steps because my legs were so short. Finally found a car park there and walked into what appeared to be a seafood restaurant. L and Slasher ordered a seafood pasta and M and I fish. The spaghetti arrived reasonably quickly, then my fish about 20 minutes later but no fish for M. Kept being told 10 minutes! Eventually arrived after we spoke to ...

... the longest you have to wait before it's your turn to do the 10km is 10 minutes !

We stopped at Deiva Marina which I would think in the height of summer would be crowded , but it was very quiet. We had a stroll along the prom and across the rocks down on the beach then jumped back in the car and headed for Bonassola.

The map shows the road carrying ...
