Cinque Terre

A travel blog entry by jazandlouis

Again we had a bit of a lie in, Cinque Terre feels very relaxed! And our legs were exhausted from the previous day... But today we planned to make the hike from Riomaggiore to Manarola along a back track (because the coastline was closed due to the landslide). Many other people had this idea so we were not short of company. This walk was not so bad as yesterday's. While the initial part was all up to reach the top of the mountain, it ...

The station had a nice atrium consisting of marble floors and high glasses ceilings where as the actually track area was dirty and run down. When we were getting onto the train a lady tried to help us with our bags. No sooner had I taken off my ...
