... to the nearest town, Deiva Marina, but there was just cafe and cafe. As we were searching for the shop Jess said "Look at that!". "What?" I asked. "THAT!" she said, but I couldn't see anything. Then something moved, and on the other side of a small retaining wall was an ostrich, just kind of walking back and forth, pretty much unphased by us taking pictures of it. ... found a place that I think was best known for its seafood - Jason had a meal of king prawns but he said were fantastic. The rest of the food everyone got wasn't really that great but I enjoyed the Insalata Caprese as it was light and fresh. We were all super tired by then so we headed back, only just making it in time for the shuttle back to the hotel and turned in for sleep.

We stopped at Deiva Marina which I would think in the height of summer would be crowded , but it was very quiet. We had a stroll along the prom and across the rocks down on the beach then jumped back in the car and headed for Bonassola.
