... in 2 days we missed our train. The first two times are interesting and fun, but the third time it's just wtf. Especially when we have a tight schedule and time is not on our side! I checked back the schedule and realise we could still stick to plan B which will leave us with only around 30mins to shop, BUT NO CHOICE SIGH!!! We have to go!!! We went to eat lunch before boarding the next available train to florence. The train journey is just plain torture. The journey ...

The problem with that is that the bus back to the camp only runs till 7pm and apparently there are no taxis. We have a beer and head home so I can cook. Dinner and a game of cards then ...

Framura to Levanto, Vernazza - Day 32

A travel blog entry by sydandval on May 20, 2012

On passing through Framura yesterday on the train we had noticed a sign advertising a bike path from Framura to Levanto and bicycle hire. We decided that what you can bike you can generally walk so we take the first bus from the campsite and catch the 9:04 train on stop to Framura. It was another grey day and by the time we got to Framura, raining. The station was deserted and we could not see a way to get across the railway lines to the bike hire building ...
