    ... the room seemed quite clean which was a plus. I had a lie down for a bit before I headed out to do some exploring. I managed to find a nice little lookout and the entry to a few of the paths, however I didn't wander too far.

    ... is known mostly for its fishing and was quite a lot smaller than the other ones but still good. We found out this little place (as well as Monterosso) was hit with massive flooding in 2011 which resulted in mudslides that left the town buried in over 4 metres of mud and debris.     ... the time you parked. Blue markings mean you have to pay at a machine and display a ticket, yellow are reserved for residents only so are a no no for us tourists. The place we found is a new car park which has yellow and blue markings but has no machines to buy a ticket yet so you park free!

    ... at all stations and there can be quite long waits to get the train you want. It is, in fact, quite difficult to see more than 2 villages in a day given the timetable (depending on where you are staying, of course) without being able to walk between them. By this time it is gone 3pm and we are damp and cold so we return to the campsite. Another variation of the pasta, fish and vegetable concoction for dinner (using the old cylinder!).
