Jon and Noush are just the best hosts and so easy to be with and we are so grateful to have met them, we will be calling into the park they are managing on our way to Paris to catch up again. Such fun times.

The drive back to the coast was once again full of winding narrow hilly roads and tiny blink and you miss them villages but beautiful just the same.

So here we are in the small seaside village of Sestri Levante, it is a great central place to ...

Vernazza (Cinque Terre), Italy - May 19-26
    Camera Giuly

Vernazza, another great Italian village where we can improve our skills for doing nothing. After relaxing in Lake Como, Cinque Terre is a perfect place to relax a little bit more. ... olives, olive oil, herbs, pesto, anchovies and pasta. We changed into dry and warm clothes and walked around Corniglia stopping at different times for coffee, wine and food stops and walking the 'Carruggi' (maze like narrow alleyways). I really like the white wine. It is fruity and full of flavour. Tonight I am drinking Cinque Terre Costa da' Posa Vendmia white wine. We had a lovely evening eating and drinking in Caffe Matteo. The wifi here is free and ...

... and salad with white wine. We were hoping to walk onto to the next part of Cinque Terra but the oath was closed and we were unable to locate where we were supposed to go :( so instead we caught the train to Corniglia. In order to get to the village it would have meant climbing 365 steps or catching the bus for €1.50. As it was, by now 3.30 we elected to go back to Sestri and attempt the rest of the villages tomorrow! We caught the train but then had ...
