So today we left our gorgeous friends and beautiful Perletto, Piedmonte behind to continue our Italian trek and to dry out lol.

We have had the most awesome 5 days hanging out, drinking, laughing, drinking, eating, drinking, meeting the locals, drinking oh and did I say drinking lol. Wow we are so naughty, 15 litres of red wine, 3 litres of white wine, 2 cartons of throw backs (250ml stubbies), 1 carton tallies, 1 bottle of Captain Morgan rum, 1 bottle of vodka and 1 bottle ...

... blue and white striped beach umbrellas and deck chairs. We also loved the seaside fishing village of Tellaro with the village cascading down the cliff to the sea. We enjoyed sharing a drink in a local cafe down near the waterfront. Local food and drink were consumed over the week. The villa was owned by a delightful Italian man Ottajio and his wife Margo. ... at the rocks. It was much prettier than the first night as the clouds made the sky streaky and colourful. We went to a bar and had to run home in the rain as it decided to bucket down. We relaxed the next day at Monterosso, Manarola and back in Riomaggiore. We swam, laid in the sun, ate more seafood by the waters edge etc. We met up with Dan and April in Monterosso for dinner and drinks before heading back to Riomaggiore to get ready to head to Florence the next ...

... anymore tracks until they are dry. We saw many people in La Spezia with arm casts and moon boots. Now I know why! We walked around Vernazza which is slightly larger than Corniglia. It has great clothes, jewellery, shoes and handbag shops. The indoor cafes, bars and restaurants were full so we took the train back to Corniglia for 1.80 Euro each. ... and had bread, foccaio and olive oil sitting in the sunshine and looking out at the beautiful bay spread below us - it was magical and magnificent. From Riomaggiore we caught the train to Manarola which apparently is famous for its fresh fish. We walked down to the sea and Pg dipped his toes in.
