... While running to the train station, we passed by another beach which had clearer waters and nicer view!!! The rest were a little disappointed that they entered the wrong beach, but nonetheless the view is amazing (: after we reach la spezia, we were pretty happy that we have made it back in time for our next train from la spezia to florence. We didn't learn from yesterday and had another sleep in, but this time we didn't regret it. We had a nice relaxing morning, showering, charging our devices and researching our next movements. We went to the little store here on the campsite and bought some prosciutto, croissants, tomato and cream cheese and had a little lunch, then decided that we should explore the local area. ... and chairs outside under a covered pergola- I bet that would be a lovely spot in summer.

We had to bribe the kids tonight, as they have ordered Penne Pasta with just tomato sauce every night since we have been in Italy! They need to have more protein- so tonight they went for Penne Bolognaise, and they were allowed to have extra screen time tonight.

Whoever said that parents should not resort to bribery, obviously never had any kids of heir own!
