Tuesday 26th We drove down to the town and found a free place to park. The parking over here is governed by the colour of the road markings; white is free but usually limited to half an hour or so, and you have to display a parking ...

... the narrow main streets and its feels very twee and aimed at tourists. Every place is either accommodation, eating places, or shops selling souvenirs of various sorts. We go to various viewpoints and although the views are good it does not appeal to us, it feels very sterile as though the place is not really lived in. Back down the (382) steps to the station and wait for the train. You have to be careful as not all ...
