Our plan was to train early in the day to Corrigliia, about 12 minutes away, and then walk to Vernazza before it got too hot, and then for David to keep walking to Monterosso on the hardest and steepest part of the walk.

Because we got to the station early, we got an earlier train, but this passed all our stops and we landed in the last village where the walk is closed. We had coffee and breakfast and waited for an hour for the train back to Corrigliia. We were told ...

We didn't learn from yesterday and had another sleep in, but this time we didn't regret it. We had a nice relaxing morning, showering, charging our devices and researching our next movements. We went to the little store here on the campsite and bought some prosciutto, croissants, tomato and cream cheese and had a little lunch, then decided that we should explore the local area.
