    So I arrived in Sydney, said bye to Johno then jumped on a bus to Manly where miss Toni Evitts lives who kindly invited me to stay. I was meant to take 2 busses but thought I could boss the walk to he house after the 1st one, I was wrong. Nearly an hour up hills for about 3 miles or so with 30 kg of gear digging into my shoulder.     ... we walked back past there was no line up :-) I now have an extra jacket to add to my collection. With time starting to run short, the sun going down (at 4:30!!!!) and our feet nearly worn out, we headed back towards our hotel, stopping at Macchiato on Liverpool St for a wood oven pizza. It was pretty good, I would definitely go back there again! The train back to the airport, and the flight home was smooth and uneventful. We were an obligatory ten minutes late, but ...

    ... or even warm. $25 for 4 scallops is NOT VFM. On the way back home we stopped off at the Lindt chocolate cafe and got a delicious hot chocolate. Then we had an early night cos Alex and Sophie were leaving at 4am. The Heat is an excellent film though and worth watching. TOT + RR has been amazing, some great LOLs and some not so great tears (on the steps of doom) but we all survived! And now it is off to Gilbert's homeland for ...

    ... gets dark around 5 in the winter. That evening Tom, Rowan, Dan and I went out for dinner. As we hadn't spent any money that day we decided to splash out on a nice dinner. We shared this platter for two to start of oysters, scallops, garlic prawns, arancini balls and calamari which was soooo yummy then I had osso buco for the main.     We caught the overnight Premier bus to Sydney and we were back to one of our favourite cities in Oz so far and back to the same hostel.
