... a bit of sleep. The crossing wasn't too bad considering the weather and I didn't feel as sick as I thought I might. I need to master walking around on the ferry tho as I'm sure people thought I was drunk - I just couldn't get my balance properly.

Once off the ferry at Roscoff we started the 3 hour journey down to Vannes. Jim did really well with the driving, the weather wasn't great and we kept having mini rainstorms. We arrived about 6pm to the campsite we ...

Janice books a massage for me at the hotel we're heading too so I have something to look forward to when we get there. The weather continues to be brilliant and the riding is good. About 5kms from the hotel we stop at another river port heading to the sea, Trinity sur Mer, for coffee and ice cream - the best salted caramel icecream I've had! I know, ...

... four different ciders that they make here. The business has been in the family for 3 generatioons. It has definitely warmed up now and we're all going through the water. The last stretch before we reach the hotel is apparently another 20kms. I'd be happy to stop now but decide to 'suck it up' and keep going. I did have to explain to Janice that it meant I would continue riding and not take the bus. It was hotter than before, the riding was ...
