August 3rdMade an early start from the Ile de Glenans 8.15am as the seas were flat and little wind unfortunately not enough wind to sail so motoring again not what we enjoy but we need to move south as quickly as possible. ... the plat du jour formule, a mixed grill with mash followed by a fraise gazpacho with menthe chantilly (minty flavoured cream on a strawberry purée). Jonathan had Penne Arabica, with spicy sauce and chorizo, and chocolate mousse. All delicious and washed down with half a carafe of Merlot. At 2pm it was amazing to see crowds of suited men and well dressed women suddenly swarm through the town and return to work and the cafe ...
