Which was great because we were up early to get to Versailles! We left our place in good time and got to the correct station only to find out that the route we needed was closed for construction! Thanks to google I now know that the story is a Greek tragedy in which Polythemus (the giant Cyclops who Odysseus runs into at a later date ) is in love with Galatea a sea nymph. Even though he tries to woo her with song she is not the least bit interested, because she is in love with the human Acis. ...
