    ... What it didn't say was that the bread sticks were dotted were dotted with chocolate, making them rather like a chocolate chip dunking stick for the yoghurty fromage blanc.     ... This was Madeline Opera House. The largest of its kind in the world. It seemed out of place. On all sides apartment buildings rose and commercial eateries peppered the ground level. We drove parallel to the Seine along the same route that Lady Dianna was driven, prior to her death. The Quai (street) was named after the previous Premier Francois Mitterrand.     ... pistachio and caramel. Of course, Dennis who didn’t want any insisted on eating half of mine. We then walked back to where the bus was supposed to pick us up.when I saw a NafNaf store. I had been looking for one of those to check out their handbags. I found one that I liked for 35 Euros. Unbelievable steal.

    Tonight is the farewell dinner and tomorrow off to Versailles for two days.

    ... the Gardens, Le Comptoir Tournon where I had a vegetarian stir fry and a refreshing bottle of strawberry juice. Back at the hotel, at 9pm we boarded the Paris by night coach tour, which took us round the main sights of central Paris to see them lit up at night. We stopped near the Eiffel Tower to see the twinkling lights at 10pm, when for 5 minutes the Tower looked like a giant sparkler! Then it was back to the hotel. After such a busy day I slept very ...

    ... is quite high but we are right downtown. Sometimes this is offset by cheap wine and the fact that we do plenty of shopping in the fresh markets. A generous serve of fish for both is between A$ 15 and 50, salad greens are about A$4 a kg and a 5kg mixed bag of fruit and vegetables cost us A$16 at the fresh markets.
