Truth time
... with other assistants'... I'd like to know how?! The closest people to me are an hour away, which leaves Sunday to go visit, when there is maybe 1 bus... yeah, I can see that working!
It's driving me crazy that this is getting to me but when I was stood in the airport before and I heard that girl say that she was 'unimpressed'... I wanted to reach around and hug her and tell her I knew the feeling! I am so lucky to have this experience ...
Weekend with Hayley
... wine the previous night, we took a while getting up and ready. We finally headed out to catch the bus at 11am which is where everything went wrong. Firstly, we sat on the wrong side of the road and watched the bus drive by (oops!). Then when we were stood on the right side of the road, the bus came 10 minutes late, and when it did come, it stopped, waited until we walked up to the door, THEN DROVE OFF! I MEAN COME ON! IT WAS A FREAKING BUS ...
Just an update after my first week at school...
So my first week teaching is over and it was brilliant!! Managed to actually make them laugh too! I've met most of my classes now but 'Hotelerie Terminale' has gone on their training period to the South of England now so I won't see them until after Noel!
