... would be way spendier. Walked around for a bit more, then back to the hotel. The jet lag caught up and it was nap time. Plane for madagascar leaves around 2pm? tomorrow, CDG is a HUGE airport and way spread out. The lady at the tourist info place said I spoke well, but I told Molly that she probably says that to every nerd that tries to practice with her. I did insist ...

... and coffee. We had a single stop, for John's mandatory break, and soon were in the outskirts of Paris, which has significant traffic! The Eiffel Tower was on the horizon, and then we were winding through streets toward our hotel. John had to drop us on a fairly major street, as the streets become quite narrow, and then we had to wave goodbye to him. Lots of great conversations with people who have done all sorts of interesting international work.

... we are going to be late. It's over half an hour walk to the tower & we only have 25 mins. Grant checks out, we leave our packs at the hotel and sprint down the road to musee orsay train station. There is a 9 min wait for the train after we get a ticket from the machine. We are going to miss the tour. Grant won't admit I was trying to hurry him up all morning he blames the breakfast lady. It's too late to get a taxi so we wait impatiently for the train as Grant reads the ...
