    ... they got planning permission! Came back via the Super U. Cooked goats cheese wrapped in pancetta drizzled with olive oil and honey on a bruschetta.. Went for a swim and then read my book for a couple of hours in the sun. It's a hard life! Reading in Daily Mail on line about trouble at Calais. I hope that it will be sorted by next week.     ... like that, as the surface is smooth, and it's easy riding. But today we also rode through beautiful wooded areas, and along tracks that were gravelly, beside the river. The wooded tracks are beautifully cool when it's hot, but there are clouds of little thrip type insects that stick to my lip gloss, and I have to have a bit of a wipe off now and then.     ... and it went around so much faster. There was a constant steam of people buying their produce - and quite a few on bikes - even in line with their bikes. I returned to the hotel with raspberries and blackberries. These were perfect as I had only snacked on nuts for lunch. Ice cream would make them even better. WOW, they just keep getting bigger and bigger, the royal Château de Chambord at Chambord, they say is one of the most recognisable châteaux (castles) in the world because of its very distinct French Renaissance architecture.
