... the GPS was set to avoid tollways which is why we had such a scenic route yesterday. So had a much speedier trip today. Although we did pay for the privilege. 18 euro for one of the tollways.

Chateaux Chambord was a bit of a stress and apart from a rather awesome Central spiral staircase there wasn't much to look at. Didn't help that there was some kind of renaissance fair going on that involved a lot of shooting and some dog/frisbee ...

They started making it 500 years ago. The Kings and Queens lived in there and they didn't share all their money. Lots of people were poor and they had a revolution.
