After sitting down for only a few minutes, one of the same workers came into the room and asked if she could "borrow" someone who "spoke a little bit of English." I offered to help, not thinking twice that I needed to know a little bit more of French before offering to translate...

... but why don't people tell me things! Seriously, I wonder about the people in this country. So now I have to write a letter with my bank account stuff and I don't even have that information here with me in this country. There isn't even that much money in it. I grabbed a plate, a cup and a bowl and headed over to check out. Harlea went first, then Lina, and then I followed. The cashier marked the items so quickly, that I learned we have to ask for the bags before she's done registering everything, so we have time to bag our items, pay, and leave. We held up the line quite a bit... but at least we got groceries!!

... must be either a daycare or an elementary school near because sometimes I hear little kids screaming and laughing, like they are playing. I miss seeing little kids. I remember at La Crosse when the little kids from the daycare would play on Drake field and I would just sit there and watch them. So cute! That probably just put me in a good mood for all day. There is nothing cuter than listening to a small child speak French.

Even though I haven't gotten off my butt yet, ...
