Wow! What a beautiful castle in the countryside. Andrew has played 2 games of golf. The children and I have ridden bikes around the quiet town, visited the chocolate factory on site, tried to converse in French with the chocolatier, eaten beautiful food ( Ains couldn't quite manage the cold tomato soup at dinner - Kate you will need to work on that one when we get back). Late check out of 12 noon, so we are just about to drive on the Le Mans. Miss you all ...

The weather was not good but we were pleased we stopped long ...

We handled them with ease and Denise's work on the front deck is getting to a very good level of competence. A few kilometres east of Brioare we came to the diversion of the ...

Twelve locks in pretty good order

... had, in fine fashion without a hitch. Lunch was imposed on us at lock #12 - Gazonne - because of lunchtime for the eclusier and we took a lot of photos. The rest of the trip to Ouzouer-sur-Trezee was uneventful and the six locks were frankly easy. After mooring and having lunch we spent a few hours having showers and then a well earned rest--I did that is, and Denise read. After dinner I went for a walk around the village and out into the countryside for a bit. ...
