... inspiration ... Of course. Quite high stretches today but eventually at the end of the day it plateaued. We are staying at the communal Gite..as there was no other accommodation at a suitable distance for us.. So the Gite it had to be... ... up cold..... Bossy Liz. Teased them and asked for an aparatiff ... Was very funny ... We had to work for a pre dinner drink... Laughter, laughter... They served us tomatoes salad, roast loin pork ( from the supermarket ..like we would buy a bar b q chicken)... Potatoes and green beans.....and some delicious Bri cheese...lovely dinner, lots of laughter and lots of fun... We loved ...

After fond farewells to our German madam we set off for a leisurely walk to Eauze the capital of the Armagnac Region...what a lovely walk through fields and then on to vineyards.... acres and acres of them and then the final seven kilometres were along a disused rail track very flat which was good and very shaded and pretty...although this walk was an easy 17 with not too much up or down we still struggled ...
