8:30 this time the alarm was bearable... This hotel got fantastic beds. I come here with my work and use the bed only 6 hours during the day, before I go back to the UK. So spending the whole night was bliss. If I could have fit the bed in my bag, it would already be in my bedroom... Leigh wasn't as happy as I was... Perhaps most memorable was his hatred of French president Sarkozy; later in the apartment we wove together a story involving boat guy, Geoff, and the unfortunate "suicide" of the newlywed president. We shared a champagne toast to celebrate Becky's upcoming wedding and friends old and new, and eventually wandered off to bed.
