    ... rose gardens, straight into the Zoo and saw lots of animals from the bike on open but secure settings eg lions, giraffes, deer, flamingos etc. It was 10km round trip and it was really fun, after all these years. I did use the electric assist a few times but still had a sore derrière and jellylike knees at the end. Fantastic.     When planning this trip, we decided to be more daring and head down to the south coast. Today was the day for the dreaded journey, it was estimated to take us up to 9 hours!
