Finally we reached the hotel at around 9pm and managed to connect to fast wifi - so we all updated our various social media pages and accepted all our friend requests!     ... the concert finished we headed back up the hill, and discovered the ancient fort. Now derelict and probably dangerous as well as it was behind what appeared to be locked gates.     ... nestled at the base of mountains, a few chalet style buildings with all the flowers out the front and people drinking beer and eating fondue. How I was wrong...There are more Chinese and Indian restaurants here than Swiss. Actually there seem to be more Chinese and Indian people here than the Swiss. Lots of Arabic folks too.

    I thought this was an adventure playground, so seeing Chinese folks lined up at high end stores to buy ...

    ... the scenery it amazing. We climb up Mount Blanc which is a steady ascent for what seems to be ages and as we do we can see the snow on the mountains, slightly freaked out as we are it to sure what to expect on the roads, ice, snow ect. We decide once at the top that we need to eat so stop at a cafe/petrol station for a roll.
