So after a quick lunch we changed into our swim wear, which in the case of Paul had to be speedos as the general swimming pool rules in France insist on no baggy shorts so budgie smugglers it has to be!!! Okay i've just been corrected, they're not speedos they're swim shorts......but still lycra hee hee. Anyway off we trotted to the spa only to be told that due ...
... Now clearly a tourist site with many french tourists taking advantage of the long weekend to visit without the hoards of Poms.
A picturesque stop and a break from inland visits, the remainder of the trip in France will follow the coast.
Back at hotel base we looked for a place for dinner in the area, nut it was Sunday, and mostly anything other than a bar was closed. We had to settle for a warmed slice of quiche and a beer at a bar in Pont Aven. No plate or cutlery, just the quiche on a piece of aluminum foil!
So if you are planning to travel to small towns in France (and perhaps Europe) most restaurants will be closed on Sunday and Monday.

... and there are also many art galleries. Steven and I tried to make a reservation at a neat restaurant in an old mill, but they were not going to be open on Sunday or Monday.
