      The alarm went off at 7:30 and breakfast at 8 (what an amazing spread) followed by a walk down the hill to pick up the skis - followed by yes - the walk up the hill !!       Why is it that when you need to get up to go somewhere and you set the alarm you always wake up just before the alarm goes off I had set the following for 4am - mobile phone alarm - television alarm - wake up call !!       So the day has arrived and it's only 3 days after booking !!! A bit of a whirlwind With the house in chaos and basically no kitchen (microwave only !) I think that was the deciding factor to go away on holiday So with the plasterer still slapping plaster on the walls we said goodbye and asked him to lock up !!       ... the house, you really need to stop yourself from asking the chef repeatedly when "tea" will be served. Tea is (in my opinion) quite an overused word. Much the way that "kiwi" is in NZ.
