Auxerre (although considered the 4th largest city in Burgundy) has only 39,000 people in the city center and 92,000 including the suburbs. It is much smaller than Dijon and has hardly any tourist traffic. The city center, however, is very charming and I look forward to exploring it further over the next few months.

I don't have a lot to say about the village other than it was quite beautiful in a classic village type of way. Rolling green hills, vines climbing up ancient stone buildings, etc.
