Whilst we have attempted the regional fare a couple of times, by far the best restaurant is the one on board the Grand Cardinal. Risotto, coq au vin, saucisson and choucroute, l’agneau, salads at lunchtime, pain au tradionale with a pain au chocolate ...
... and the courses are so spread out, it takes 4 hours to get through, and the serves are delicate so you aren't that full. I'm really getting the hang of it and will miss this style of eating when i get home. This particular restaurant was quite a drive through winding narrow roads that trout the GPS we would Never of found. It was literally in the middle of nowhere and when we pulled up there was only 1 other car there. However people were still coming ...
