    We have got a bit slack at being up, showered and breakfasted before the first run of the day. We are generally eating breakfast watching agility in the main ring from the cafe through the windows.

    Today was quite good as there was only one event that was not in the main ring, and that was for the people who hadn't qualified for the second round of the biathlon so we stayed in one spot watching for the day. The final round of the Pentathlon was ...

    ... and a cross catholic. A swan is Lutheran.
    We finished the night with a walk around the red light district. It was different but non confrontational. They are doing a lot of work with the women entering and exiting the industry and it is very controlled. Then we had free time in Dam Square and had Mexican for tea and then enjoyed cheesecake and coffee at Starbucks.
    Amsterdam is an amazing city and has a great vibe. Ashleigh noticed and commented ...

    ... and with the last memory of the scent of my dearest mothers dutch cooking, I leave for schiphol.

    To get me to the place where beaches are waiting and jungle is calling. Temperature is dropping here, which means that my presence is most likely needed on the other side of the world.

    I'll miss our cheese.

    ... the Netherlands. The family had to have stars put on their clothing. Maude was glad that she was 6 and had to have a star. Her sister pitched a fit wanting a star. Her mother relented and gave her sister a star to put on he clothing. Since all of the family wore stars, this made the family recognized.

    ... with people on this bright and sunny sunday. The park was so peaceful and had such a vast assortment of inhabitants. Our batteries were running on near empty, so it was nice to recharge for a little bit before heading back. But just before we went back to the bus to say goodbye to Amsterdam, we decided to venture into one last coffeeshop called Smoke Palace.
