    Travel day

A travel blog entry by lcmckay on Oct 22, 2014

We had an early train to get to Reims, it was a pretty standard travel day. Got to the train station in Paris only to discover out next train left from a different station so we had to catch the metro. Metros and backpacks are always fun at least this one was so packed. The "menu" (ie the fixed price, fixed selection) is attached with pics of the dishes just to make you jealous. That rum baba in a glass, floating in white rum, infused with vanilla pods, added at the table, was ...

One Fantastic Cathedral but the Parking was Tough!

... to the fact that campervan parking was practically non-existent and that the sense of time here is irrelevant, our day got a lot better! We parked horizontally in the car lot, hoped for the best and headed out! The Cathredal her is absolutely fantastic and the history is actually richer than Notre Dame in Paris. Every king or queen of France has actually made the treck to Reims and held their coronation in ...
