    I managed to score a tour of Fromelle today. Apparently this is something I really should have booked ahead. The first tour company I approached were fully booked, but they recomended Phil, an Aussie expat living here in Arras. Phil had just returned from holiday and had no bookings the afternoon.     ... map at the train station, bad assumption). Only one person in the cafe spoke a little english (yep I'm in the country) he gave me the best directions he could, they kinda worked. I took one wrong turn but found a sign pointing to the town square. The tourist office is in the town square and thankfully they have wifi. So I got onto maps, got directions to my accommodation and took a screen shot. I also managed to pick up a tourist map but its not very detailed. Clearly ...

    ... to transfer at Lille. Not just trains, but entire train stations! It was a 10 minute dash across the streets to jump on the next train. Who needs drugs when you can get that sudden, intense rush of adrenaline that comes from having only minutes to find your next train. What platform? Where is that? Argh! Ha-ha! Today was our day though - smooth sailing from start to finish.

    ... then David (after his run) joined us. They are an interesting couple with a good sense of humour and they were going to have a BBQ at the end of the jetty where we were moored. We were invited to join them to put our meat on with their rack of lamb. It was a very pleasant evening.
