... chocolate and heaps of whipped cream on top - it could not have been more perfect. On one side the River Seine was lined with canal boats, on the other side le Sacré Coeur was silhouetted, and from another side le Champ de Mars stretched all the way down. If it hadn't been absolutely freezing, I could've stayed up there forever. Now I feel even luckier than I did before. At only 18, I've ticked off something that is on almost everyone's bucket list. It doesn't get any better than ...

Je suis desole (I am sorry) that I haven't been keeping up on my blog. I didn't leave the apartment all day Sunday because I was so tired and needed to rest. It's an unusual feeling to be able to do whatever I want - when I want. I can sleep in the day and stay up all night. ... galette. Evan was very uncertain about the snails, but actually enjoyed them. He was less fond of the terrine. Go figure. We shared two mains: sea bass with risotto and vegetables and gnocchi with a Lyonnaise sauce and crawfish. Both were spectacular, but Evan enjoyed the gnocchi the most. We passed on dessert as it was getting late - the French are in no hurry to eat - and took the metro back home. We were all exhausted from our day and glad to see our ...

... we had a delicious leak tarte, fresh bread, red wine, beef stew and creme brle. After the dinner we went on the Seine river cruise where we saw famous sights again. After the cruise the Mercedes Benz party bus took us to the Eifle tower so we got to see it light up on the hour (but of course when it hit the hour, my camera battery died).
