    ... though.

The next day, Brian and I went to Palais de Tokyo, a contemporary art space in the 16th arrondissement. The website describes it as "an anti-museum par excellence," the "pioneer of a movement of reconciliation between the City of Light and contemporary art." I can't make this stuff up.

We were to meet the group at the Obelisk again so we knew we had some time to sit and people watch, one of my favorite pastimes. Once the group gathered, we started our walk to the Opera Garnier. We took photos, which will be posted at a later date, and continued our walk ...

... minutes before boarding the Metro again. There are some grand bronze animals in the forecourt. We made it back to our neighborhood, and stopped for pizza and beverages. Our tour buddies stopped and said Hi, and then we headed back toward our hotel. As we walked, we decided to walk beyond our street, and discovered that the Eiffel Tower is just a few blocks away! We people-watched our way closer to it, and watched it become lighter as the sun set. Then, on the hour, ...
