... the British memorial at Thiepval - there was an excellent audio-visual display there which portrayed the various battles of the Great War. We drove on to Peronne, where we had lunch (after 2 pm!) in the Peronne WWI museum cafe. We bought our tickets and got in the massive elevator, which was packed to the brim with other tourists. The elevator slowly clunked its way up the tower to the first floor. The elevator opened its doors to the level as everyone walked out to take photos, dangerously holding their cameras over ...

... iconic landmarks in the world. It was gorgeous! We took the Seine River Cruise and had a glass of champagne. It allowed us to see several of the famous and historical sights of Paris in a quick one hour tour. It was very informative and very interesting, but made me want to come back and spend more time their. After the cruise, we decided to have dinner there under the Eiffel Tower at night. Just gorgeous and I sight I won't soon forget. I love ...
