    ... size, most things were last year’s and I know that I shop best in the company of others.

    However, we did find Wertheim! It sits on the confluence of the Tauber and Maine Rivers and at the time of our visit, the annual festival of music was in full swing. Another late night of German beer and dancing! Good fun, hopefully to be repeated next year. The parking area was across the river, so was reasonably quiet … the time the music actually stopped ...

    ... sight - this cellar contained parts of the original abbey which was where it began before being destroyed in the war - original parts had been resurrected and restored for public viewing) both tours offered completely different prospectives - 1 very commercial and the other more intimate. tattinger carries a better name in the UK but to be honest it was not as good (or palette) as the other it seemed to be very specialised. after the tours and much to R's ...

    We walked from Epernay to Chouilly, a nearby village, and back today. The walk took about 3 hours including roaming around Chouilly. I will post some photos from our walk.
