... about a minute from the beach for the bargain price of 5 euro, including electric, bingo!!!

After lunch and a beer Paul was suitably de-stressed and we decided to walk into St Malo as this was the sole reason for our visit. It was a beautiful walk which took us along the coast path then across the beaches and finally on the promenade before finally 5 miles later arriving at the walled city. We spent an ...

It was a stunning walk and we made our way through the steep cobbled streets to the Abbey where we ate our picnic overlooking the bay. ... dry, so we packed up and set off for St Malo. In St Malo the wind strengthened enough to stop P &P in their tracks before they were blown over by the wind. Fortunately there was no damage. A bigger challenge was boarding where the side wind nearly pushed us off the ramp. But we're safely on now and waiting to set sail. Bon voyage et Bon nuit. Next blog from the ...

... the river again, this time through mist, until eventually we could see it towering before us. We ventured onto the Mont, up the steep staircases towards the abbey. We decided not to pay to go inside the church, but walked up the Grande Rue all around the outside through the gardens, along the ramparts, with brilliant views of the three levels of the abbey, the bell tower, and of course the gold plated statue of Archangel Michael on the ...
