Arrived on site at about 3:30pm after a really pleasant drive through the countryside, we actually crisis crossed motorways we could have used but why bother when we can go at the same speed and not pay tolls! The site is mostly closed down for the winter with a small number of pitches in use, most of them are full at the moment with transitees like us, although we are the only Brits, most are Dutch heading South.

There are no really big pitches and all are bordered ...

Today we got up relatively early to set off quite early to try and get to Magny Cours for Max and Dad. We arrived there at about midday and they both had a couple of goes around the racetrack - (Max won both times) After they had had their fun, Mum and I set up for lunch on the grounds of the racetrack. After a long and tiring journey we arrived at our campsite. Weather is lovely so went for an uphill walk in the evening. Just enjoying a beer in the bar now. Day by the pool tomorrow me thinks. Did a little reading by the van after breakfast and then dozed off. After lunch went and had a dip in the pool. ... to 21 points. Caleb drew an 11 year old girl for his for his match. His opponent had lots of supporters in the crowd. As the match progressed the supporters mouths started to drop open one by one a Caleb was taking command of the game. The girls father started giving intense instructions as he saw what was going down. Nothing could help here as Caleb was victorious 21-16!!!
