... French Paris like buildings redone recently. This was a town not for everyone that was clear. We heard that a lot of older people from big towns came to leave here cause there was practically no crime and it was still really French ! ... us go. Good. We are in a small village, newly built it seems, called Avrieux http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avrieux , approx 1150m above sea level. Our accommodation is great, views even better. It's cold out so we are staying in tonight. After a game of 21 in the "public" lounge, we head back to our room for dessert and bed. (Red wine and cheese when the boys hit the hay). ... we found a camp site. After that we went to the sea and skimmed rocks in the water. I skimmed 4 but I wasn't trying to get my highest. My highest is 8 or 9. ... functioning village of row upon row of medieval houses, crowned by a magnificent castle on top of a hill. The medieval was not known for its wide streets so we parked in a conveniently placed car park (at least that’s what it looked like) and we donned our raincoats and went for an explore.

Apart from some tinkering with the idle on the carburettor the day has been mechanically sound.
