    ... that day went up to a volcano lake called Lake Pavin. The roads were twisty and windy and mum wouldn't have liked it! We walked up steep stairs all around the village , found old ruins and a church , a market the day we left. Weather was fine but still a little cold . We then travelled on to Valliguiere .

    ... for Volvic waters. Booked in and set up the temperature read 30.5c I was melting, we made for the pool complex and spent the rest of the afternoon in and out of the water.     ... water sources bubbling up out of the ground. Again this was completely free of charge, although you were only allowed to take the Celestin water, the other 3 waters were only available with a prescription from the doctor…….however somehow we managed to gain entry to this area and tried all of the waters which were all equally as disgusting and ranged in temperature from 21.5 degrees to 41 degrees….ugh! What a change it ...
