... garden of the Tabac, he gave us a small carafe of white, and only charged us €2.20. That meant we could afford to buy a baguette at the Boulanger. Back in the lane on the way home, we spotted a chap using a mechanical vine pruner, then we saw a horse being used by wine pickers. At bedtime I was just getting undressed when I felt a tickle on my neck, I looked to my right and I saw this black thing moving...I screamed and knocked it off...I'm afraid to say, the biggest spider in the whole of France is now dead because I stamped on it! That put my blood pressure up, while Dave laughed his head ...

... I am back on a sunbed reading my book. Dave went inside to listen to Saints v Man U. Peter and the boys are at St Mary's watching it. Sounds like it was an exiting game but sadly Man U won 3-2. Though they shouldn't have because their last goal was offside! I finished my 3rd book and started my 4th. Chloe the dog came in our gíte for a while, as soon as she realised we weren't going to feed her she cleared off! Tonight the stars are so light pollution ...
