... with all new shops and bars/restaurants. Beautiful ! Than we got into the old centre full of old narrow streets and nice squares again with lots of terraces and cafe's. We saw the magnificent cathedral and found a Pain Quotidien where we had a cappuccino and flute like we always have ! Great ! We found a place where we had mussels for dinner at a terrace which were real nice, especially as we hadn't had them for a long time. ...

Today we spent the whole day at the Lac. However, we didn't go down until later as it was very hot in the midday sun (as you can see, Dad fell asleep in the sun, big mistake.) ... as far as Bordeaux (will take us about 2 weeks), and then cut across back over to pick up the Atlantic Coast bike route we left at the biggest sand-dune in Europe two days ago. This part of our trip will see us cycling along the Canals Deux Mers, the Canals of the Two Seas, connecting Bordeaux on the Atlantic and Sete on the Mediterranean by the: Canal Lateral a la Garonne, The Canal du Midi, and also the River Garonne.
